  • The Seahawks will enjoy their spring break in beautiful Newport, R.I. as they host three games over spring break. 
  • Salve Regina kicks off its spring break with UMass. - Dartmouth on Saturday at 1 p.m.
  • The Seahawks are 12-18 all time at Gaudet Field including a pair of wins last season. 
  • Salve Regina is 2-1 at Gaudet against the three teams the Seahawks will face during spring break including hold a 1-0 advantage over UMass Dartmouth. 
  • The Seahawks are 1-1 against Eastern Connecticut at Gaudet and will face Husson for the first time in program history on Wednesday, March 12.

  • Leading the returners is junior Gina Tortorici who finished second on the team last year with 37 points (26g, 11a). 
  • Senior Grace Kelly was tied for third on the team with 24 points (20g, 4a), followed by junior Sarah Woods (22 pts • 19g, 3a) and sophomore Abigail Tepper (20 pts • 13g, 7a).
  • Woods leads the team with four points this season (3g, 1a) while Kelly and Woods are tied with three goals each on the year. 
  • Sophomore Colleen Kane leads the Corsairs with 13 points (12g, 1a) on the year while senior Taylor Carsano leads the team with five assists on the season.

  • Salve Regina ranks seventh in the 2014 Commonwealth Coast Conference preseason poll of the head coaches. 
  • The Seahawks finished the year 3-11 last year with a 1-7 mark in the CCC.
