• The last time the two schools faced each other the Lions used a late second-half goal to defeat the Seahawks 13-12 to snap on two-game winning streak for Salve Regina. 
• The Seahawks won two-straight meetings between the two teams, including a 16-7 victory over the Lions on April 5, 2011. 
• The Seahawks have outscored the Lions 55-52 in the all time series.

• The Lions return their two top scorers from a year ago in senior Chelsea Phillips (78 pts • 67g, 11a) and sophomore Tayllar Righini (36 pts • 27g, 9a).

• Salve Regina head coach Jennifer Foster enters her eighth season at the helm of the Seahawks.
• Cooney has led the Seahawks to the CCC tournament eight of the last nine seasons and has compiled an 40-72 all time record at Salve Regina.
