NEWPORT, R.I. - The Colonial Hockey Conference has selected Salve Regina University senior Jennifer O'Connell (Marstons Mills, Mass.) as its Goalie of the Week (Nov. 12-18).

O'Connell was brilliant for the Seahawks in Saturday's 1-1 tie with Endicott. The senior goaltender stopped a season-high 40 shots to keep Salve in striking distance for 65 minutes. Her lone surrendered goal of the contest came in the second period before she buckled down and turned aside a combined 23 shots in the third period and overtime to preserve the point for the Seahawks.

Salve Regina (1-6-1, 1-4-1 CHC) hosts Wesleyan University on November 20, at 7 p.m.
