Summary
In a first-ever meeting between William Smith College and Salve Regina University in any sport, the Herons scored four unanswered goals after trailing 1-0 in the second period to open the season with a 4-1 victory over the Seahawks. The two teams will meet again on Saturday (2 p.m.) at St. George's Howard Rink in Middletown. Four different skaters tallied goals for William Smith.
