Summary
NEWPORT, R.I. - Seniors Olivia Shaw (Saco, Maine) and Sam MacDonald (Lebanon, N.H.) scored 19 and 18 points, respectively, to lead visiting University of New England over Salve Regina University, 65-43, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's basketball action at the Rodgers Recreation Center. Senior Ally Esielionis (Shirley, Mass.) led the Seahawks with a 17-point effort while junior Liv Pierce (Tyngsboro, Mass.) led all players with 11 rebounds.

The Nor'easters lead the all-time series, 20-11, and have won the last 13 meetings. University of New England has held Salve Regina under 50 points in seven of the last eight meetings between the two schools.
