NEWPORT, R.I. - Senior Meaghan Harden (Sandwich, Mass.) and junior Jillian Woodward (Orono, Maine) combined for 42 points as Salve Regina University women's basketball defeated visiting Nichols College, 64-51, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Rodgers Recreation Center.

 Salve Regina owns a 34-9 mark in the all-time series; the Seahawks swept the season series and now has won the last 13 meetings with the Bison. Nichols looks to snap a five-game losing streak when it next hits the hardwood.

 1 – Salve Regina senior Meaghan Harden (Sandwich, Mass.) - came so close to a triple-double with 20 points, nine rebounds, eight assists; made eight of nine free throws.
