Salve Regina University women's basketball coach Corinne Hughes believes so strongly in mercy that she wrote an essay for Rhode Island's public radio station, WRNI (102.7 FM), to be aired on Wednesday, April 14 (6:50 a.m., 8:50 a.m., and 5:45 p.m.).

Phillips earns Cox Sports Basketball Media award

Salve Regina University junior forward Erin Phillips will receive the Kevin McNamara Award as the Cox Sports R.I. Basketball Media women's player of the year during a luncheon next Monday at the Radisson Airport Hotel in Warwick.
