BEVERLY, Mass. (May 4, 2019) -- Salve Regina University softball ended its season at Endicott College as the host and top-seeded Gulls survived a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) elimination game with a 9-1 victory in six innings.

(May 2, 2019) -- Former Salve Regina University softball player Elizabeth Lombardo (Thomaston, Conn.) reached base in all four plate appearances and scored three runs as No. 5 Roger Williams University bested the No. 4 Seahawks, 5-3, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) softball playoff action at Toppa Field on Thursday afternoon.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Salve Regina University sophomore Andi Nelson (Candia, N.H.) was selected as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Pitcher of the Year by the league's coaches and joins six other Seahawks on the All-CCC team.

No. 4 seed Salve Regina plays No. 5 seed Roger Williams in opening round of the CCC softball championships.

NEWPORT, R.I. (April 23, 2019) -- Seahawk sophomore Jaycee Garrigan (Uxbridge, Mass.) pitched a complete-game, two-hit shutout, 3-0, for Salve Regina University to salvage a split with visiting Eastern Connecticut State University in non-league softball action at Toppa Field.

(April 15, 2019) -- Fresh off her recognition as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week for softball, Salve Regina University senior Amanda Riley (Barrington, N.H.) received the 2019 Distinguished Student Athlete Award bestowed by the Rhode Island Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (RIAIAW) during a ceremony hosted by the University of Rhode Island at the Ryan Center.
