MEDFORD, Mass. - Salve Regina University softball players Amanda Riley (Barrington, N.H.) and Kara O'Riley (Acton, Mass.) were named to the all-tournament team at the conclusion of the NCAA Division III Softball Championships Regional hosted by Tufts University in Medford, Mass.

MEDFORD, Mass. - Salve Regina softball pitchers Nicole Parry (Quincy, Mass.) and Kelsey Boarman (No. Dighton, Mass.) combined on a three-hit shutout, as the Seahawks defeated the Hawks of Becker College in an elimination game at the NCAA Regional hosted by Tufts University. Salve Regina draws three-time defending national champion Tufts in another elimination game on Saturday (4 p.m.).

MEDFORD - Junior Cassie Ruscz drove in four runs, including a three-run home run, as the Tufts University softball team defeated Salve Regina University 4-1 in game five of the NCAA Regional Saturday at Spicer Field.

MEDFORD - Pinch hiitter Renee LeClaire scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the WPI softball team defeated Salve Regina 4-3 on the first day of the NCAA Regional at Tufts Friday afternoon.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) softball champion, Salve Regina University, will start its NCAA tournament journey against No. 24 Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in the regional hosted by three-time defending national champion, Tufts University. Judges, Seahawks split in non-league softball doubleheader

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Brandeis University and Salve Regina University softball teams met for a doubleheader on Marcus Field today and each squad took a victory in a pair of pitcher's duels. Brandeis won the opener, 3-1, while Salve Regina took the nightcap, 3-2. The Judges are 16-17 on the season, while the Seahawks move to 20-16.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University softball improved to 12-4 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play and an even .500 (15-15) overall with its sweep of Eastern Nazarene College (8-0 in five innings and 10-1 in six innings) after recognizing a trio of seniors - Genevieve Benoit (Swampscott, Mass.), Melissa Figueiredo (East Bridgewater, Mass.), and Nicole Parry (Quincy, Mass.).
