Seahawks compete in three regattas over weekend

NEWPORT, R.I. - Captains JP Silvestri and Shannon Killian, along with junior crew Stephanie Clancy and senior crew Katie Travers, beat Rhode Island, Connecticut, North Carolina State, and Washington College at the Stedman Hood Intersectional regatta held at Tufts University, while sophomore Sean Beaulieu with freshman crew Emily Conaton along with fresmen Sam Shannon and Jennifer Killian dominated Mass. Maritime, Bates, Middlebury, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and UMass Amherst at the Loder Trophy hosted by MIT.

Heading south to University of Rhode Island, the Salve Regina sailing team of fresmen skippers Bayard Lalor and Caden Buckley, along with junior crew MaryKate Fallotico, and senior crew Kaylen Heath cleaned up over teams from McGill, Wesleyan, Fairfield, Sacred Heart, Mass. Maritime, and Maine Maritime, at the Salt Pond Invite.

The team continues to prepare for competitions at Dartmouth College and University of Rhode Island this coming weekend.
