NEWMAC Cross Country Championships Preview WESTWOOD, Mass.- The NEWMAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships return in 2023 for an incredible day of competition on Saturday, October 28. The Championships are hosted by Smith College and will be located on Smith's campus in Northampton, Massachusetts. The championship competition will begin with the men's 8K race at 11 a.m., followed by the women's 6K race at 12 p.m.

Soucy runs personal best at Western New England SPRINGFIELD, Mass.-- The Salve Regina men's cross country team competed at the Western New England Invitational on Saturday. Freshman, Gianni Soucy ran a personal best time of 32:31 for 8,000 meters.

Week at a Glance: Seahawks • October 9-15, 2023 NEWPORT, R.I. (October 9, 2023) – Salve Regina now has seven weeks of NEWMAC competition experience. Seahawk teams are starting to see where they matchup against conference rivals, make offensive and defensive tweaks and set new goals for the end of the fall season. Winter sports including women's ice hockey, women's basketball, men's ice hockey and men's basketball are preparing for the start of their seasons and preseason exhibition contests will begin.

Seahawks finish out the day at Westfield State WESTFIELD, Mass.-- The Seahawk men's cross country team raced at the 27th annual James Earley Invitational on Saturday. Senior Shane Behn and junior Ty Gallagher were the top two Salve Regina finishers.

Week at a Glance: Seahawks • October 2-8, 2023 NEWPORT, R.I. (October 2, 2023) -- Fall sports are well into their respective seasons and have had several chances to see NEWMAC competition. There will be nine home contests this week and visiting NEWMAC programs include: Wheaton College, Emerson College, The United States Coast Guard Academy, Smith College and Babson College.

Behn and Coblentz command Seahawks
ATTLEBORO, Mass.-- Shane Behn '24 and Dillon Coblentz '26 posted the two fastest Seahawk times at the Brown Bear Invitational, both improving upon their times from last year by over 30 seconds.
