NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina University has landed 31 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2012-13 Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference Team, announced Friday, June 7 by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Senior Aaron Isch (Tolland, Conn.) was selected by the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's tennis coaches to the all-conference second singles team, as announced by commissioner Gregg Kaye. Isch and his doubles partner Colin Gunning (Norwell, Mass.) received the necessary votes to also claim honorable mention accolades.

QUINCY, Mass. – The Eastern Nazarene men’s tennis team rolled to a 9-0 victory over Salve Regina Saturday afternoon at the ENC Tennis Courts.

Salve Regina dominated net play in its three doubles matches but only had one win to show for it; the Seahawks rallied for four singles wins to clinch their first team victory of 2012-13.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University sophomore Mike Gallerani (Fairfield, Conn.) and freshman Khoa Nguyen (Haverhill, Mass.) paired for an 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles, but visiting UMass Dartmouth took eight other matches for an 8-1 non-league men's tennis victory over the Seahawks.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Gordon College men's tennis posted an 8-1 win over Salve Regina University in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action as Seahawk senior Brian Sweeney (Waldoboro, Maine) came back from a 3-0 first-set deficit and eventually won in three sets to clinch his team's point.
