Bio

Paul 'PJ' Criscione Jr. joins the Men's Soccer coaching staff for the 2018 season following his graduation from Salve Regina with Bachelor degrees in both Marketing and Business Administration.  Coach Criscione had a stellar four-year playing career under Coach O'Rourke and helped return the program to prominence in his senior season.  In 2016, he founded Hotbed FC Cyclones, a men's amateur soccer club based in Boxford, Massachusetts.  The club plays in the highly competitive Twilight Summer Soccer League, winning the league crown in the summer of 2018 after having qualified for the league playoffs in 2017.

Coach Criscione serves as not only the clubs' manager and head coach, but also as its starting central midfielder.  In just a short time, he has built the club into one of the top men's amateur teams in Massachusetts and has recruited a roster of primarily college players from all levels of college soccer (NCAA Division I, II, and III).  A former high school standout and state champion at Masconomet Regional High School (Topsfield, Mass.), Coach Criscione was brought onto the men's soccer coaching staff to work with and mentor the team's first-year players.

Coach Criscione is currently enrolled in graduate school at Salve Regina and is working towards his Master’s degree in Business Administration.
