Bio

Jonathan DaCosta joined Coach O’Rourke’s staff prior to the 2017 season and was promoted to First Assistant for the 2018 campaign.  Previously, he served as the head coach of the Taunton Eagles men’s team in the Luso American Soccer Association (LASA).  Coach DaCosta graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in 2013 and captained their men’s soccer team in his senior season.  That year, the Corsairs finished as runners-up in the Little East Conference after being ranked as high as #6 in the NSCAA New England regional poll.

A former high school All-State selection in New Bedford, MA, Coach DaCosta returned to his hometown to work as a counselor within the school system.  An experienced coach as well as a stellar player, Coach DaCosta currently holds licenses and diplomas with both the United States Soccer Federation and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
