NEWPORT, R.I. - After trailing in a game for the first time all season the Salve Regina University men's soccer team battled to a 3-3 draw with visiting Johnson & Wales University in non-conference action Wednesday evening.

Salve Regina still owns a 9-4-1 record versus Johnson & Wales and snaps a three-game losing streak to the Wildcats.

  1. Salve Regina junior Donald Igo (Needham, Mass.) scored twice in the final 15 minutes of regulation to force overtime.
  2. Johnson & Wales freshman JP Rioux (Stony Point, N.Y.) scored in the 80th minute to give the Wildcats a 3-2 lead.
  3. Johnson & Wales junior Adam Cassidy (Jersey City, N.J.) made nine saves in his third appearance of the season to fall to 1-0-2 between the pipes.
