NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University head coach Craig O'Rourke II has named Richie Leister (Navesink, N.J.), Matthew O'Donnell (Pittsburgh, Pa.), and Noah Medeiros (Dartmouth, Mass.) his captains for the 2018 men's soccer season.

The first-ever McAuley Cup was given in honor of Catherine McAuley, founder of the Sisters of Mercy - who founded Salve Regina, to the 2017-18 Salve Regina men's ice hockey team.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University director of athletics Jody Mooradian bestowed dozens of awards to student-athletes and staff on Friday evening, including the department's female and male athletes of the year - senior Amber Cody (Pawling, N.Y.) of field hockey, and junior Blake Wojtala (Trenton, Mich.) of men's ice hockey.

NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina University has landed 54 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2017 Fall Academic All-Conference Team, announced by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University junior Jordan Elster (Sutton, Mass.) earned a selection to the United Soccer Coaches (formerly National Soccer Coaches Association of America) 2017 NCAA Division III Men's All-New England Second Team.

Salve Regina student athletes collected more than a quarter of the total donations during a conference-wide food drive.

BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Nathan Gosselin's (Hudson, N.H.) goal with 16:05 remaining snapped a 1-all tie and lifted the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Salve Regina in the quarterfinal round of the 2017 Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament.

Endicott ends Salve Regina win streak, 3-1

NEWPORT, R.I. - Endicott College clinched at least the No. 2 seed in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's soccer championships with a 3-1 victory over Salve Regina University today at Reynolds Field. Endicott ended Salve Regina's win streak at six games and unbeaten streak at nine games. The Seahawks qualify for the postseason as well, but need help from other teams to gain a home playoff game. The CCC men's soccer championships start Saturday, October 28, on the campuses of the top four seeds.
