Summary
The Salve Regina University men's soccer team earned its first Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) victory of the season by defeating Eastern Nazarene 1-0 at Gaudet Field.

1 – Salve Regina sophomore John Julian (Upper Saddle River, N.J.) - scored his first goal of the season in the 37th minute for the only goal of the afternoon.
2 – Salve Regina junior Christopher Anderson (Trumbull, Conn.) - notched his second assist of the season on Juian's goal.
3 – Eastern Nazarene senior Jameson MacFarland (Jacksonville, Fla.) - made eight saves in the loss for the Lions.

Turning Point
For most of the first half play was happening in the midfield as both teams struggled to possess in the final third. In the 37th John Julian took a pass from Christopher Anderson and in crowd, fired it to the net from 20 yards away. Julian's rolling shot missed the hands of the keeper and ricocheted off the left post and into the goal.
