SOMERVILLE, Mass. -- The Salve Regina University Seahawks cruised to a 6-0 victory over the Suffolk University Rams in non-conference Men's Soccer action on Wednesday evening.

Salve Regina won its fifth contest in their last six games to improve to a 7-6-1 overall mark on the season.

Five different players scored goals on the evening as junior Alex Wasilewski (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) netted a pair of goals to bring his team leading total to seven on the season.

The Seahawks had nine different field players record at least one point in the contest, as Wasilewski added a pair of goals while junior Devin L'Heureux (Litchfield, N.H.) and freshman Nolan Brady (Needham, Mass.) each recorded a goal and an assist in the contest.

Salve Regina netted three goals in the first half as they scored a pair of goals just a minute apart in the twelfth minute of the contest. Junior Enrique Lecaros (Patterson, N.J.) opened the scoring as he took a feed from junior Evan Thomas (Mohnton, Pa.) to open the score. Wasilewski would get credited with the Seahwks second goal of the game that was deflected off a Suffolk defender, while Brady closed out the first half with his first career collegiate goal.

Salve Regina controlled much of the offensive tempo in the game outshooting Suffolk 21-9 in the contest.

The loss drops the Rams to 4-10 on the season.

Both teams will be back in conference action later in the week. Salve Regina will travel to Nichols College on Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm. Suffolk will host Mount Ida College on Friday afternoon at 4:00pm.
