Seahawks soar past Skyhawks
NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University club men's rugby team defeated Stonehill College 76-12 last weekend in Colonial Coast Rugby Conference (CCRC) action.
"We killed the game overall offensively with one try coming after the other," said senior Ovidio Matos. "The defense clicked after the first 15 minutes, allowing no tries for the last 65 minutes of the game."
Salve also got recognition by the very well known "Goff rugby report" (no relations to Joe Goff '18)
The team next takes on Wentworth this weekend at 11 a.m., and secured a home playoff spot for the following weekend.
