Salve Regina partners with Middletown to spruce up Gaudet Athletic Complex

NEWPORT, R.I. - Plans were finalized earlier this month on a partnership between the town of Middletown and Salve Regina University to renovate the surfaces of the field and track at the J.H. Gaudet Athletic Complex off Turner Road. The track has been milled (June 16) and the turf has been removed (June 21) while a new carpet of FieldTurf will be installed beginning Monday, June 28.

Seahawks land 119 on Academic All-Conference Team

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University has landed 119 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2021 Spring Academic All-Conference Team, announced by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

Ethan Robson, Pat Leary, and Marco Mongelli earned All-CCC honors.

BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced its 2021 Men’s Lacrosse All-Conference Teams and major award winners Thursday morning. Seven of the eight participating schools were represented on this year’s list, while Salve Regina University had three honorees.

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – Junior goalie Ryan Chambers (Wakefield, Mass.) made a game-high 17 saves for the Salve Regina University men’s lacrosse team which outscored visiting Curry College 9-4 in the second half to earn a 15-11 victory.
