CCC Rookie of the Week: Pat Leary

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) selected Salve Regina University freshman attack Pat Leary (Wakefield, Mass.) as its Rookie of the Week.

Leary got his collegiate career off to a strong start as he notched at least four goals in each of his first two contest for Salve Regina. First in a 15-10 loss to Clark, the first-year attacker potted four goals and added an assist. He then picked up six goals and an assist in a 22-3 win over Salem State. Three of his goals in the contest came in man-down situations. In addition to his offensive output, Leary also had seven ground balls during the week.

The Seahawks (1-1) host Wheaton this Wednesday, February 28, at 5 p.m. in another non-conference matchup.
