Men's Lacrosse #2 - LoCicero shatters assist record in less than two years (March 18, 2015)

NEWPORT, R.I. – Early into his second season as a men's lacrosse player at Salve Regina University, sophomore Nick LoCicero (Lynbrook, N.Y.) owns the career assist record as a Seahawk. With 63 helpers in a record-setting freshman campaign, LoCicero trailed just Brendan Rooney (66 in three seasons) on the all-time list.

LoCicero, who had at least one assist in all 19 games played last season, had three assists in the team's first two games on the trip to Florida. In the first home game this year, he recorded a hat trick including the game-winning goal in triple overtime against Clark. LoCicero also assisted on two other Seahawk goals to surpass Rooney in the school record book.
