NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University attack Zach Makoske (Shoreham, N.Y.) as its Rookie of the Week for men's lacrosse (Ending April 12).

Makoske compiled four points on one goal and three assists for the Seahawks. In a 16-7 setback against Western New England, Makoske picked up three ground balls and dished out two assists. In a 9-4 loss to the University of New England, he totaled two points on one goal and one assist while picking up five ground balls.

On the season Makoske has totaled six goals, four assists, and 17 ground balls. The Seahawks (4-6; 2-4 CCC) will host Wentworth on April 14 at 7:30 p.m.
