Pantani named Rookie of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Freshman Jake Pantani (Branford, Conn.) kicked off his collegiate career for the Salve Regina men's lacrosse team with his first honor as the Commonwealth Coast Conference selected the attackman as the Rookie of the Week. 

In a tough 11-10 loss to Hartwick, Pantani netted a goal and had a stick in another, on four shots on goal. In the Seahawks hard fought 11-7 loss to Mount Ida, Pantani tallied two goals and handed out two assists, while gathering four ground balls. Pantani ended the week with a one goal, two assist, and four ground ball performance in the Seahawks 17-13 loss against Lasell.

Pantani and the Seahawks return to action when they travel to Keene St. on Wednesday, March 6 for a 4 p.m. face off.
