NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) selected Salve Regina University junior Blake Wojtala (Trenton, Mich.) as its Goaltender of the Week.

Wojtala helped No. 6 Salve Regina lock up the CCC Regular-Season Championship with a pair of shutouts against Nichols this week. First he made 32 stops in the 4-0 road win on Friday (Feb. 9). He followed that up with 26 saves in a 2-0 home victory on Sunday (Feb. 11). The shutouts were the seventh and eighth of Wojtala's career, adding to his program record.

The Seahawks (19-4-2, 14-2-2 CCC) will open the playoffs as the top seed on February 17 versus eighth seeded Western New England.
