The Bison own a 19-11-2 record all-time over the Seahawks.

1 – Nichols senior Paul Prescott (Oakdale, Minn.) assisted on the first score of the game, then added a goal of his own late in the third period to give Nichols a 4-1 advantage.
2 – Nichols senior Alex Larson (Madison, Ala.) made 39 saves for a .951 save percentage.
3 – Nichols junior Sean Swanson (Salem, N.H.) scored in the first period and assisted on Prescott's goal.

Key Stat of the Game
Salve Regina was 0-5 on the power-play, unable to capitalize on five-minute major in the first period. While the Bison went 1-5 with the extra man, scoring their first power-play goal of the season.

Turning Point
The Seahawks won the first period, generating excellent scoring chances, but had no goals to show for it. The Bison flipped the script in the second period, scoring three straight goals to take control of the game. 

Quick Hits

  • Pat Thompson (Hellertown, Pa.) scored his third goal of the season. Thompson is the only Seahawk with multiple goals this season.
  • Shaun Altshuller's (Nepean, Ontario) goal in the third period made him the eighth player to score for Save Regina this season.
  • Blake Wojtala (Trenton, Mich.) made 31 saves in his home debut for Salve Regina.
  • Frank Butler (East Haven, Conn.) scored an empty net goal for the Bison in the third period to seal the game and was +3 on the ice to lead all skaters.
