CENTERVILLE, Mass. - The Salve Regina men's ice hockey team landed a program-best 11 players on the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast All-Academic team, as announced by the conference office. 

A total of 96 student-athletes, representing all eight participating league institutions were honored. To be eligible for the ECAC Northeast Hockey All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have completed at least one full academic year at his current institution and possess a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. 

Two of the 11 honorees were previously named to the ECAC Northeast All-Conference team as sophomores David Chiokadze (Langhorne, Pa.) and Peter Gintoli (Monroe, Conn.) earned a spot on the honorable mention team.
