- The Wildcats hold a 16-7 all time series lead over the Seahawks.
- The Seahawks swept the season series against the Wildcats last year for their first win in the series since the 2006-07 season.

- Juniors Scott McMenimen, John Scorcia, and senior Alex Barr will handle the duties as captains this season. McMenimen and Scorcia are in their second year with a "C" on their jerseys while this is the first season for Barr.
- Senior David Watkins joins McMenimen, Scorcia and Barr as a captain for the remainder of the year.

ECAC NORTHEAST PRESEASON POLL
- Salve Regina ranks second in the 2013-14 Eastern College Athletic Association (ECAC) Northeast preseason coaches' poll (54 points).
- The Seahawks finished last year with a 5-7-2 mark in the conference to earn a No. 5 seed.
- After defeating No. 4 Western New England in the opening round of the conference tournament, the Seahawks went on to upset No. 2 Nichols before falling to No. 1 Wentworth in the conference title game.
COACHES' CORNER
- Salve Regina head coach Andy Boschetto enters his fourth season at the helm of the Seahawks.
- He led the team to the ECAC Northeast playoffs for the first time since the 2009-10 season.
- The 10 regular season wins last year are the most for the team since the 2007-08 season.
- Boschetto was honored as Co-Coach of the Year by the ECAC Northeast last season.
