SALVE REGINA VS. HOBART
- This is just the third meeting between Salve Regina and Hobart.
- The Statesmen have won the previous two meetings with the most recent win in 2012 when Hobart defeated Salve Regina 10-0.
- Head coach Andy Boschetto began his playing career for Hobart in 2001-02 where he established a new single-game points record (five).

- Salve Regina has played six times before on Jan. 11 with a 1-5 all time record on this date.
- The last win for the Seahawks on the 11th of January came against Castleton State in 2005. The Seahawks beat Castleton 6-1.

I'M HONORED
- Freshman Trace Redmond (Dallas, Texas) was named the ECAC Northeast Rookie of the Week last week following his two-point performance against Skidmore.
- Redmond handed out an assist on junior Michael Naso's (Londonberry, N.H.) goal to open the game before adding his own tally on a power play late in the second period.
- Redmond is the second freshman and fourth Seahawk to earn a weekly honor from the ECAC Northeast this season.
- Joining Redmond was Naso on the weekly honor roll. Naso had a pair of goals over the weekend, including one against Castleton State and one against Skidmore.
ECAC NORTHEAST PRESEASON POLL
- Salve Regina ranks second in the 2013-14 Eastern College Athletic Association (ECAC) Northeast preseason coaches' poll (54 points).
- The Seahawks finished last year with a 5-7-2 mark in the conference to earn a No. 5 seed.
- After defeating No. 4 Western New England in the opening round of the conference tournament, the Seahawks went on to upset No. 2 Nichols before falling to No. 1 Wentworth in the conference title game.
HOME SWEET HOME
- Salve Regina is 5-0 this season on its home ice and has a six-game winning streak at home that dates back to last season.
WHAT'S UP NEXT
- Salve Regina will make the far trip up north to take on nationally-ranked Oswego St. next Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. before hosting Southern New Hampshire next Saturday, Jan. 18 to close out its non-conference schedule.
- The Seahawks will return to ECAC Northeast action next Saturday, Jan. 25 when they travel to Harrisville, R.I. to take on Nichols at 7:40 p.m.
