CCC Rookie of the Week: Mikey Spencer

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University freshman Mikey Spencer (Abington, Mass.) as its Rookie of the Week for men's basketball (Dec. 17 - 30).

Rookie of the Week - Spencer played all but one minute against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in the Seahawk's only game of the week. He scored 19 points on 6-for-11 (54.5 percent) shooting, while also grabbing four rebounds and handing out one assist. Spencer also had one steal and one block in the contest.

Salve Regina (4-7, 0-2 CCC) returns to conference action when travels to Curry College on Thursday, January 3 (7:30 p.m.).
