CCC Rookie of the Week: Mikey Spencer

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University freshman Mikey Spencer (Abington, Mass.) as its Rookie of the Week for men's basketball (Nov. 26 - Dec. 2).

Rookie of the Week - Spencer led Salve Regina with 22 points in a 69-67 win over Newbury on Saturday (Dec. 1). He shot 40 percent (6-for-15) from the field and grabbed four rebounds. Earlier in the week, he contributed eight points and rebound in a conference loss to Nichols.

Salve Regina (3-4, 0-1 CCC) returns to conference action when it hosts Roger Williams University on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Rodgers Recreation Center. Visit here for season tickets.
