NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University men's basketball senior Nicholas Bates (Danvers, Mass.) and junior Rodney Morton (Malden, Mass.), both captains, were named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) All-CCC teams in voting by the league's coaches at the end of the regular season. "Our staff and players are pleased to see Nick Bates and Rodney Morton have their efforts recognized by the CCC coaches," 15th-year head coach Sean Foster commented.

NEWPORT R.I. - Salve Regina men's basketball welcomed the return of Alick Furtick '01 as an assistant coach last October. Furtick ranks No. 1 all-time in program history in blocked shots (112) and field goal percentage (63.0 percent), despite playing just two seasons after arriving as a transfer student.
