NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University junior guard Barrett Hanlon (Hopkinton, Mass.) as its Player of the Week for men's basketball (Feb. 16-22).

Player of the Week - Hanlon registered the only 40-point performance by a CCC men's basketball player this season, pouring in a career-high 40 points in the Seahawks' tough 84-80 loss to host Curry College in the team's final game of the season. In addition to scoring half of his team's points, Hanlon dished out a game-high nine assists and grabbed four rebounds.  Earlier in the week, Hanlon hit what proved to be the game-winning jumper with five seconds remaining in Salve Regina's 58-56 victory over Western New England, finishing the contest with 14 points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists.  For the week, Hanlon averaged 27.0 points, 5.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game, while shooting 59% (20-34) from the field, 60% (6-of-10) from three-point distance and 62% (8-of-13) from the line.

The Seahawks finished the season outside of the conference playoffs for the first time since 2010.
