  • This is the 21st meeting between the Seahawks and Camels.
  • Salve Regina won the first two meetings (1993, 1994) before Connecticut College had an eight-game win streak in the series.
  • Connecticut College leads the all-time series, 14-6, including wins in the last three meetings.
  • A two-point victory (80-78) and a one-point victory (55-54) in 2010 and 2011, respectively, preceded last season's 82-59 win by the Camels.
  • In last year's meeting at New London, Conn., Salve Regina enjoyed a 14-0 run to close within one (58-57) before the Camels bettered that stretch with a 22-0 run.

  • Salve Regina tipped off the 2013-14 season with a 73-68 victory over Johnson & Wales at the Wildcat Center on Friday.
  • Barrett Hanlon led the way for Salve Regina with 23 points, five steals and four rebounds while Patrick Dinneen had 18 points and four boards in the win for the Seahawks.
  • Johnson & Wales raced out to the early lead and held a 13-5 advantage at the 13:42 mark. Salve Regina responded, however and used a 10-2 run, capped by a layup by Hanlon with 11:11 left in the stanza.
  • The visiting Seahawks continued their run and used an 18-8 burst over the next eight minutes to take their first double-digit advantage on a layup by Nicholas Bates.

  • Matt Vadas made 11-of-17 from the floor including seven of 11 3-point attempts to score a game-high 33 points.

  • Salve Regina ranks fifth in the conference's pre-season coaches' poll, released on Friday.
  • Gordon and Curry both received four first-place votes, but the Scots edged the Colonels in total points.
  • Salve Regina finished just ahead of Eastern Nazarene in the poll, a team the Seahawks lost to in first-round action of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Basketball Championships last season.
