- This is the 20th meeting between the Seahawks and Wildcats.
- Salve Regina, which leads the series 12-7, earned a four-point overtime victory (79-75) against Johnson & Wales in Providence, R.I., last season.
- Isiah Pringle hit 10-of-18 shots from the field to lead all players with 24 points. Pringle added two assists, three treys, and a pair of steals, while Joshua Hohlfelder drained 7-of-9 from the field for 17 points and four rebounds. Jeff Bielefeld notched a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards.
