Bio
Ryley van der Velde joined the Salve Regina field hockey staff for her first season in 2017. A 2017 graduate of Connecticut College where she earned a bachelor's in human development, van der Velde started at goalie for the Camels and was a two-year captain and three-year NESCAC All Sportsmanship Award honoree.
A native of Louisville, Ky., van der Velde also served as an assistant coach for Hear the Cheers Field Hockey Club.
