NEWPORT, R.I. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2014 Division III New England Region Field Hockey All-Star teams on Thursday. Junior Abigail Tepper (Foxboro, Mass.) earned a second team spot on the squad after leading Salve Regina University to a 14-8 record and its first-ever ECAC postseason bid. Representatives from ECAC Division III New England Field Hockey member institutions completed the voting.

Tepper, a first-team forward on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) All-CCC squad, set school records in scoring goals (19) and points (47), while tying her former teammate, Lisa Bucci, for most assists in a single season (nine).

The third-year Seahawk also had six game-winning goals in 2014 as Salve Regina has reached the 14-win total for only the second time in program history (14 wins in 2004). She scored almost half of her career goals as a junior (19 of 39) which included five multi-goal games in 2014.

She trails only Whitney Bushee (2004-07) in career records for points (120 to 89) and goals (54 to 39) in program history.
