CCC Player of the Week: Abigail Tepper

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University junior Abigail Tepper (Foxboro, Mass.) as its Offensive Player of the Week for field hockey (August 25-31).

Offensive Player of the Week - Tepper scored four goals and tallied two assists in a 2-0 week for the Seahawks. Tepper blasted home a pair of goals and added an assist in both Seahawk victories, as Salve topped Johnson & Wales 6-0 and Wheaton 8-2.

Salve Regina won its first two games of a season for the first time since 2011 when the Seahawks had a two-game win streak at Gaudet Field. The Seahawks will be on the road Saturday (at Worcester State) and next Tuesday (at Bridgewater State) before hosting Salem State in the home opener on Thursday, September 11.
