NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Football has selected Salve Regina University sophomore John Goode (Rockland, Mass.) as its Defensive Player of the Week (Nov. 5 - 11).

Goode had a big game in Salve Regina's 47-34 win over Endicott on Saturday (Nov. 10). He was a ball hawk in the defensive backfield as he came away with two interceptions and two pass breakups. He also had 11 total tackles (10 solo, one assisted) in the contest.

Salve Regina (7-3, 5-1 CCF) will travel to face Bridgewater State on Saturday, November 17, in the third annual New England Bowl.
