• THE SERIES: This will be the 24th meeting between Salve Regina and Curry with the Seahawks owning a 15-8 edge in the all-time series. After six straight wins for the Colonels from 2004-2009 the Seahawks have won the last six meetings.
• LAST TIME OUT FOR SRU: Senior Sam Pascale carried 21 times for 226 yards and four touchdowns and junior James Dawson had 203 total yards and two touchdowns leading Salve Regina to a 48-10 win over Coast Guard in the New England Football Conference (NEFC) opener for both teams. Salve Regina outgained Coast Guard in total offense, 601 yards to 115. The Seahawk defense held the Bears to -2 yards rushing in the game with 11 tackles for a loss of 55 yards and held the Bears to 25 yards of total offense in the first half. The Seahawks had two interceptions, two sacks, and six pass breakups.
• KEY PLAYER TO WATCH FOR SRU: The Seahawks already have a two headed monster at running back with Pascale and Dawson, now add NEFC Rookie of the Week Chris Rosati into the mix. Rosati rushed for 51 yards on 10 carries for a 5.1 average and scored a 15-yard second quarter touchdown in the Seahawks' win over Coast Guard. The touchdown was the first of his collegiate career.
• LAST TIME OUT FOR CURRY: Curry suffered a 59-28 loss to Western New England University in Springfield on Saturday afternoon. Junior quarterback Alex Corvese led three scoring drives for the Colonels while going 22-for-33 through the air for a total of 279 yards. Jake Cawlina was the quarterback's top target, bringing in four catches for a total of 144 yards and two touchdowns.
• KEY PLAYER TO WATCH FOR CURRY: Senior wideout Anthony Nastasi has been the Colonels top target in the passing game. Through three weeks he has hauled in 29 passes for 233 yards and a touchdown. Anthony is also the brother of Andrew Nastasi, who is a backup quarterback for the Seahawks.

- Seniors Brandan Basil (Northford, Conn.), Noah Drake (Needham, Mass.), Joey Farrar (Watertown, Mass.), Ethan Gambale (Mays Landing, N.J.), and Sam Pascale (Cheshire, Conn.) will serve as captains for the 2016 season.
