- This is the 13th meeting between the Seahawks and the Bears.
- Salve Regina still trails all-time in the series 4-8, but has won the previous two meetings and three out of the last four.
- Salve Regina won 21-6 on September 15, 2007 in Bridgewater, Mass., then were blown out 42-18 by the Bears in front of the home crowd at Gaudet Field in Middletown, R.I. Salve Regina next won 27-20 on September 19, 2009 in Bridgewater, Mass., and 36-7 in Middletown, R.I. on September 7, 2013.
- Dan Buonocore (Mahwah, N.J.) scored four touchdowns for the Seahawks in last season's game. Three rushing touchdowns and a touchdown reception from quarterback Steve Wilken (Ringwood, N.J.)
