NEWPORT, R.I. - For the second-straight season, a Salve Regina football player has been named to the D3football.com All-America team as sophomore Hayden Stanton (Wallingford, Conn.) was named to the All-American Defense Third Team, Friday evening.

Stanton joins junior Phil Terio (Trumbull, Conn.) as the only two players from Salve Regina to earn All-America honors from D3football.com in the program's history. Stanton put together one of the best seasons as a defensive tackle for the Seahawks in his sophomore season in the Blue and Green.
