NEWPORT, R.I. - After the Salve Regina football team set a new program record of 604 total yards of offense last week, the offensive line has been named the Offensive Line of the Week, by D3football.com. 

Starting on the o-line for Salve Regina was senior Dakota Cowell (Berkeley, Mass.), junior John Gaffney (Mahwah, N.J.), junior Paul Hurley (Park Ridge, N.J.), senior Justin Johnson (Durham, Conn.), and freshman Sean Nagy (Franklin Square, N.Y.)

The Seahawks ran for 257 yards, 51 yards above their season average while junior quarterback Steven Wilken threw for a career-best 347 yards. Salve Regina was able to control the clock for nearly 34 minutes against triple-option Maine Maritime. 

The Seahawks return to the field on Saturday as Salve Regina honors its 11 seniors along with hosting a military appreciation game when Coast Guard visits Gaudet Field for a 12 p.m. kick off.
