NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University football travels to Framingham, Mass., on Saturday to play the Framingham State University Rams in the 2012 New England Football Conference (NEFC) Championship Game at 1 p.m. at Framingham's Bowditch Field.

Tickets for the game can be purchased at the gate and are $5 for general admission, $3 for students with ID and $1 for children and seniors.

Tailgating will be allowed prior to the game at Bowditch Field. However, grilling, open flames and alcohol will not be permitted.

The NEFC Bogan Division Champion Rams are making their second NEFC title game appearance in as many years, while the Boyd Division Champion Seahawks are also making their second appearance with their previous trip occurring in 2000.

The Rams and the Seahawks have met twice in the last three seasons with their last meeting occurring on September 17, 2011 in Middletown. The Seahawks emerged victorious 28-13, while the Rams had defeated Salve Regina 14-3 in Framingham the previous year.

The winner of the 2012 NEFC Championship Game receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Football Championship with pairings announced on Sunday, November 11. The selection show will air on ncaa.com beginning at 6 p.m.
