NEWPORT, R.I. (April 23, 2022) - Salve Regina University graduate students Patrick Maybach (Saunderstown, R.I.) and Dustin Siqueira (Trumbull, Conn.) powered the Seahawk baseball team past New York University, 10-3, in a non-league meeting at Reynolds Field on Saturday afternoon. The Violets and Seahawks will meet again on Sunday afternoon with a noon first pitch.
Maybach improved to 5-1 on the season after striking out nine Violets over seven innings while allowing just four hits and two earned runs. Siqueira smacked a home run over the hedges in left field.
