Three more Seahawks earn All-New England honors

Alex Perry, Patrick Maybach, and Dylan Ketch have been named to the Rawlings All-New England Region Team

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University senior Alex Perry (North Attleboro, Mass.) and sophomores Patrick Maybach (Saunderstown, R.I.) and Dylan Ketch (Clinton, Conn.) have been named to the Rawlings All-New England Region Team by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA).

Fifth-year head coach Eric Cirella on each honoree:

"It's great to see a handful of guys get regional recognition for their hard work and play on the field this year. Each guy is definitely deserving of being All New England. They are all premier at their position and even better people."

PERRY
"Alex has been one of the top hitters in the region for four years, and he does it at a position that is super offensive. He was really exciting to watch this year at the plate and will be impossible to replace, but it's a nice way for him to end his college career. He's one of the best hitters I've ever coached and definitely one of the best to ever wear a Salve Regina baseball uniform."

MAYBACH
"If you look at Pat's numbers, he is by far one of the best around. He was a tough luck loser a couple times this year which probably prevented him from being on First Team, but that goes with the territory of matching up with everyone's top arm. He's still growing as a pitcher and I honestly couldn't pick another arm in the region that I'd rather have on the mound for the next two years - I mean that. And the scary thing is, Pat is still getting better."

KETCH
"Dylan is the new guy on this list and I couldn't be happier for him. He was All-CCC his first two years but he really stepped up his game in every single facet for his sophomore campaign. He competes his tail off every single pitch and that's something that a a lot of regional coaches and all of his teammates noticed. He was our best outfielder, ran the bases well, handled the bat, and had a ton of clutch knocks. He's really stepped up his leadership too which is exciting for the future."
