NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University sophomore outfielder Ryan Kelly (Waldwick, N.J.) and senior pitcher Vincent Roth (Pleasant Valley, N.Y.) both earned a selection to the 2014 NEIBA Division III All New England second team.

Both Kelly and Roth were first team honorees on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) all-league team, and represent the conference among eight other CCC players on the all-region squad.

Kelly, who joins Justin Collett as the only Seahawk sophomores to make the team in school history, started all 41 games for Salve Regina (26-15) and collected multiple hits in 18 of them while reaching base via hit 12 of his last 23 at bats (.522). The aggressive-swinging right-hander walked nine times while collecting 16 extra-base hits (three home runs, five triples, eight doubles). He led the team in home runs (three), runs (44), stolen bases (17), and batting average (.380). His hit-by-pitch school record (38 - tied with Matt Capone) has been achieved in just two seasons (2013 - 18; 2014 - 20) with this year's mark ranking seventh nationally.

Roth (8-1) ranks 14th nationally in pitching victories (eight). The senior lefty hurled two complete-game shutouts this season while maintaining a 1.71 earned run average (ranks 49th nationally) in 63.1 innings pitched. Roth earned a postseason victory as the No. 2 seeded Seahawks defeated No. 7 Falcons of Fitchburg State University, 14-3, on May 7 in first-round action of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Championships.
