Bio

Amanda Sherman began her career at Salve Regina University in August 2005, after completing an internship at Roger Williams University.

At Salve Regina, Amanda primarily works with field hockey, women’s volleyball, women’s ice hockey, and softball. She also assists with the coverage, rehabilitation, and treatment of all athletes that compete in the 19 intercollegiate sports.

While working at Roger Williams University (2004-2005) Amanda worked with the men's wrestling, men's and women's basketball, and softball teams while assisting with injury recognition and emergency treatment for all of the school's varsity and club sport student-athletes.

A 2004 graduate of Quinnipiac University with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and sports medicine, Amanda went on to receive her Master’s in management from Salve Regina University in May 2012, along with many of her student athletes.   

Amanda is a member of the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) and is licensed by Rhode Island.

Amanda resides in West Greenwich, R.I., with her children and small hobby farm.
