Pezzelli joins the Seahawk sports info staff

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University sports information director Ed Habershaw announces the hiring of Andrew Pezzelli (Narragansett, R.I.) as the school's sports information assistant.

Pezzelli attended Endicott College where he graduated in 2013 with a degree in communications and a focus in contemporary journalism.

His voice will be familiar to Seahawks fans as he previously worked within the sports information department at Salve Regina providing live play-by-play commentary for men's and women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse, baseball, and softball during the 2013-2014 season.

Pezzelli will continue to provide play-by-play to Salve Regina broadcasts as well as supporting the needs of the sports information office. He will be the direct media contact for football, women's volleyball, men's and women's ice hockey, and men's and women's lacrosse.
