SAAC runs literal food drive to benefit local area

NEWPORT, R.I. (November 17, 2020) -- Due to COVID concerns, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) of Salve Regina University will run its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive in a single day with donation dropoffs welcomed at the Rodgers Recreation Center throughout the day on Wednesday, November 18.

Dropoff boxes will be available outside the Rodgers Recreation Center for donations to be delivered. Clicking on the link with the Rodgers Recreation Center will bring you to a Google Maps page for directions to the facility. Please remember that posted speed limits on any Newport street never exceed 25 miles per hour.

Donors may park at the Rodgers Recreation Center and walk their donated goods to the boxes, or request assistance from an on-site SAAC member.
